Tajweed Academy Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: October 4, 2023

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "your", or "student") and Tajweed Academy ("we", "our", or "us") regarding your enrollment, participation, and access to our courses and services. By enrolling in a course, making a payment, or attending any class, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms below.

1. Refund Policy
Once you have enrolled and attended the initial class, no refunds will be provided under any circumstances. Course fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

2. Access to Course
Students will have access to course materials only until the last scheduled day of the course. Access will be automatically revoked after the final class.
All products, devices, or materials provided by Tajweed Academy must be returned in proper condition by the end of the course. Failure to do so may result in additional fees or legal action.

3. Course Fees Liability
Attendance of the first class constitutes full liability for the total course fee. Withdrawal, absence, or dissatisfaction does not waive your financial responsibility.

4. Invoice Due
All issued invoices are final and must be paid by the due date. Delays or non-payment may result in access restrictions or account suspension.

5. Specialty Courses Payment
Specialty courses must be paid in full or according to an agreed payment plan (monthly, per term, per semester, etc.). Failure to follow the payment schedule constitutes a breach of agreement.

6. Cancellation, Attendance, and Billing Policy
To cancel enrollment, written notice must be emailed to tajweedacad@gmail.com at least 30 days in advance.
Failure to notify us in writing will result in continued automatic billing, and you will be responsible for all invoices issued.

Instructors are paid for each reserved time slot whether or not a student attends. This policy applies to all courses.

7. No Makeup Class Policy
At Tajweed Academy, we prioritize the integrity of our educational services and aim to create a structured and respectful learning environment for both our students and teachers. This policy has been formulated through collaboration among the administration, teachers, and parents. Its primary objective is to safeguard the dignity and mental well-being of our teachers. It serves as protection against frequent changes in schedules and prevents the exploitation or abuse of makeup class policies that are commonplace elsewhere. In line with this commitment, we have established the following policy regarding makeup classes:

Scheduled Time Slots: Once a specific time slot and day are assigned to a student for their class with our esteemed teachers, it is understood that this slot is exclusively reserved for that student. Our teachers are committed to honoring this arrangement and cannot accept another student during the assigned time slot.

Teacher Attendance: Teachers are required to be present and engaged for the entire duration of the class. They will be duly compensated for their time and expertise invested in conducting each session. Any absence or inability to attend the full duration of the class due to unforeseen circumstances will be communicated and managed accordingly.

In the event that Salaah (prayer) timings coincide with or occur before a class session, both the teacher and the student are expected to take a brief break to perform their respective prayers. Prompt rejoining of the class is essential thereafter. Certain male teachers may have the responsibility to lead Salaah in a Masjid. In such instances, they are authorized to lead the congregation and promptly resume class instruction.

Please note: the time allocated for Salaah will not be deducted from the class duration, nor will it be compensated or made up at a later time. It is imperative to respect religious obligations while maintaining the continuity of educational sessions. Salaah timings may vary daily, especially during certain seasons. All parties should remain mindful of this.
